I'll be in the Gretsch booth on Saturday, and making the rounds on Friday. If any of you are going to be around, I'd love to meet you. BZ

I'd love to be there, but I don't have a pass and I can't get by the security thugs!

God willin' and the creeks don't rise (and there are lots of them between Indiana and Nashville), I'll be there.
Joe is scheduling some tentative time for me to interview Mr Z for the GDP (if it's alright with him). So just in case, if anyone has good questions they'd like asked, email them to me and I'll put them to the man himself.
I also have a secret plan for a cool demo...
Billy, I'm looking forward to meeting you (and if you have any questions you want me to ask you, just let me know).

Find Chihoe Hahn (Hahn Guitars) and play the black 228 (Tele-style) with the Duo-Jet color scheme and Bigsby. That's going to be mine next week.

I wish I could go to NAMM but it's an industry thing only right? Well someone here said that now you don't have to be in the industry to go or you don't need to know someone. There are ways to "buy" tickets to NAMM now. If anyone has a clue how to get in let me know. I'd love to go and check out the Gretsch booth and see the Billy Zoom sig model.
I tried a SilverJet last week, a Dyna model, and it's amazing. I can just imagine that Billy's sig is even that much better. That SilverJet was addictive. More fun than my Country Club even. Hard to put down. When the Zoom model appears I'd love to buy one.
Anyone have any tips in getting into NAMM without industry ties or without rushing the big old security guards at the entrance?
I.E, where do I buy tickets if possible?

Officially, NAMM is closed to the public. IF there's a way to "buy" a ticket in, they're sure not advertising it on their website! You have to either be a member of NAMM or you have to be a hired entertainer... Or possibly work for the service staff at the convention center... but then again in the last case, you're supposed to be emptying trashcans... not playin' guitars!

Also, it started on Friday the 21st and ended yesterday.
You can probably get into the Nashville Convention Center NOW and look for picks or something.
