My father passed away on the 15th of sept. he has been living with me since mom died 13 years to the day that my father died. i've been watching over him and keeping him busy by being my PR man for calendar events.

he didnt have much insurance and my brother and me basicly paid for the funeral and such. So I am going to be selling a few of my lefty guitars to make up for the cost.

i have a white falcon 6136 in near mint (9.9) condition a mint condition cij white fender jaguar (9.99)i did put american series pups in it. i also have the originals

and a couple of the Agile 335 lawsuit copies (as-820) that are waaaay better than any epi dot. i would say these are just a notch below a gibby 335

My condolences to you and your family. A tough loss compounded by being forced to sell cherished things to make ends meet seems like too much.

hi Jay, sorry to hear about your father. I'll keep my ears open for anyone looking for a left handed guitar. I've been playing right handed for 42 years now, so it'd be hard to change over at this stage in the game. you may also want to post on the Fender related forums. brent

i will post on the agile forum as well as the other gretsch forum. i was kicked off the fender forum by mr greene. i may let a few lefties over there know these guitars are for sale.

i will probably post them on ebay next week if they dont sell.

yeah, I've noticed that he has something about being a "contributing member" to be able to sell items on there. but there is a couple of more. strat-talk.com and tdpri.com . and there's another one that tartan phantom goes on as well. hope that this helps. brent

My sincere condolences; I feel for your loss.

Having your dad helping out with your music career had to be a great feeling -- the icing on the father-son cake, as it were. A wonderful thing that not all of us have had.

I wish I could help out, but recent events in my life and a couple of ongoing guitar projects have sopped up my available funds right now (this has gone on a lot longer than I anticipated or wanted), and I need to let the financial dust settle before I do anything else.

If those two white guitars don't sell soon enough, though...

Sorry to hear of your loss, Jay - I'm sure that hurts worse than having to let some guitars go, no matter how cherished.

They ought to sell – lefties get too little choice, and yours fill in some gaps in the typical offerings.

good ole chris greene didn't like my comment that the search function on his forum wouldnt let me search for p90, p-90. you have to use at least 4 letters to do a search. then when i asked why i cant find anything about those pickups, he told me to go to harmony central if i think his forum isnt good enough. then he kicked me off. he wanted me to pay $30 to get access back to his forum. i told him to jump in a lake. end of story.

thanks for all the kind thoughts, my friends.

i'm sure my dad is still with me at my gigs. he loved to watch the people react to my music. plus he had a bunch of his favorite songs he wanted to hear all the time.

he really liked to test my ability of playing. i can give him the credit for my playing styles. always asking for more out of me and not to do anything half-assed.

However, I am in contact with a lot of lefty players in my area, so if you'll email a price list, I'll sure pass it around and see if I can stir up any interest and connect you with any potential buyers here.

I am glad to hear you may have sold your guitars, but very sad to hear of your loss. When my dad passed it tore a whole in my heart. Now I only have good memories.
