I have experienced some fret buzz mainly on high and low E strings (G6120DSW). I started study it more closely and my conclusion was that the 14th fret seems to be too high on edges of the fretboard. In the middle (D and G strings) it seems to be OK. Has anyone else had a problem like this and any ideas how difficult it will be to fix? The guitar is still under warranty, should this be covered by the warranty?

It should be. If it isn't...it should be.

do you mean it buzzes when you're fretting at the 13th fret but doesn't buzz when you're fretting the 14th?
I was trying to get the string action as low as possible but buzzing was preventing me from going much lower that I had it. I bought one of these and it helped to isolate the offending fret.

It's very common to have an issue where the neck joins the body. The strings try to pull the neck up, and the neck joint has to resist this, sometimes frets will pop up, fingerboard humps up, etc. The good news is, it's all fixable, and should stay put once it's dealt with.

Thanks for replies. Yep, it buzzes if I am fretting the 13th fret (or 12th) but not 14th or beyond. I tried "rocking" the frets and the 14th fret is rocking on the edges (high and low E string) as expected. I think I will take the guitar to luthier and ask opinion and estimate for fixing, I would not want to send it back to the shop as I bought it from internet shop abroad.

I took the guitar to luthier earlier this week to check the fret buzz around 14th fret. He confirmed that the frets around 14th were bit higher on the edge than they could or should be. He said it is not too bad though, so it was up to me if it bothered me he could file them lightly. I let him do the filing and now it feels good. No more buzzing and I can set the guitar with lower action. I am also planning to try Proteus's tru-arc bridge, I think and hope it will even increase the playability,

hi Cuz ! glad to see you around. I'm glad that you got the buzzes out of your guitar. to me, there is nothing more annoying than hitting a note and getting the "buzz".
