Admission is $20 for the event. Payment information is below.

Breakfast, Lunch and BBQ Dinner at GDP Roundup '08 will be available Saturday. Breakfast will be available Sunday. There will be no meals available Friday, but soda, juice and snacks are included in admission.

Saturday Morning - Full Breakfast - $15 or Saturday Morning - Continental Breakfast - $10 Saturday Box Lunch - $15 Saturday Night BBQ - $20

Sunday Morning - Full Breakfast - $15 or Sunday Morning - Continental Breakfast - $10

The Hachland Hills venue has 40 beds available. If you want to reserve one, please indicate how many you will require. Advance reservations are required, and if you are bringing a spouse/significant other/bed partner, please indicate so.

There are a limited number of private rooms - so it is first come, first serve. It is $60 per night, payable immediately on your arrival at Hachland Hill. Send me (fieldhdj) a PM. Include the following information:

Your name, and the names of everyone you will be paying admission for @ $20 each. How many beds you will require @ $60 each per night.

What meals you wish to purchase, and how many.

Sample PM: John and Joan Gretschplayer - $40 1 bed, 2 nights - $120 Saturday meals only, full breakfast for 2 people $100

Or

Ray Lonewolf - $20 2 nights - $120 All meals, continental breakfast Saturday - $60

Or

Tom Localguy - $20 BBQ only - $20 and so on.

Once you send me this information, I'll send you a confirmation email with 24 hours. In this confirmation email will be a summary of charges for admission and food, a room reservation confirmation and most importantly, a Paypal address. You can pay for Event Admission and Meals in advance using this address. Be sure to save and print out your Paypal reciept. You will pay for the rooms on your arrival at the venue, but you must reserve them in advance in this PM.

If you cannot use Paypal, contact me for alternative arrangements. probably a USPS money order or certified check in advance. Deadline for room reservations and payment for event admission and food will be Monday, May 19th.

Curt I'm going to be getting ahold of Crowbone this weekend about the trip down to Nashville. At this point I think I'm taking my Blazer instead of renting a minivan (345 for the week). Since Wentzel can't make the trip it will loosen up the luggage space for the BJr but I don't know if I would have room for the twin. At this point Crowbone is bringing 2 guitars and 2 amps and a 6 foot 4 inch 14 year old I think! I'm taking one guitar and the Tophat. I'm also kicking around the lil' Fargen and 15 inch cab plus luggage. When I come up with something more definitive I'll be sure to let you know!

This meeting was going to be the highlight of my trip down there, but the Air Force has other plans for me and I will be deployed to another location and won't be able to make it. Send Fred and Joe my regards, seriously. I wanted to meet them in person since I have their autographs twice now from the kind and accomodating GDP giveaways etc...

Mr. Gretsch and Joe C, you are my idols. I'd love to have a job working for Gretsch when I retire in 6 years from the AF. How do I submit an application???

Thanks for the invite but terribly sorry I won't be able to make it. Just wrong planning, aside from living in Holland.

I just got back from New York and will be there in July again. I would have flown to Nashville if I had been in NY during that weekend. Hope I can make it next time. Have a great time,

My brother remarked that a few friends of his expressed interest in coming. They got to the website ok, but had some problems navigating to the Roundup info. I gave him (my brother) the OK to give them my email address if they had questions.

We're not talking more than 5 or 6 here...
