GDP Roundup '08 Admission, Lodging And Meals Information

Admission is $20 for the event. Payment information is below.

Breakfast, Lunch and BBQ Dinner at GDP Roundup '08 will be available Saturday. Breakfast will be available Sunday. There will be no meals available Friday, but soda, juice and snacks are included in admission.

Saturday Morning - Full Breakfast - $15 or Saturday Morning - Continental Breakfast - $10

Saturday Box Lunch - $15

Saturday Night BBQ - $20

Sunday Morning - Full Breakfast - $15 or Sunday Morning - Continental Breakfast - $10

The Hachland Hill venue has 40 beds available. If you want to reserve one, please indicate how many you will require. Advance reservations are required, and if you are bringing a spouse/significant other/bed partner, please indicate so. There are a limited number of private rooms - so it is first come, first serve. It is $60 per night, payable immediately on your arrival at Hachland Hill. Send me (fieldhdj) a PM. Include the following information:

Your name, and the names of everyone you will be paying admission for @ $20 each.

How many beds you will require @ $60 each per night.

What meals you wish to purchase, and how many.

Sample PM:

John and Joan Gretschplayer - $40 1 bed, 2 nights - $120 Saturday meals only, full breakfast for 2 people $100

Or

Ray Lonewolf - $20 2 nights - $120 All meals, continental breakfast Saturday - $60

Or

Tom Localguy - $20 BBQ only - $20

and so on.

Once you send me this information, I'll send you a confirmation email with 24 hours. In this confirmation email will be a summary of charges for admission and food, a room reservation confirmation and most importantly, a Paypal address. You can pay for Event Admission and Meals in advance using this address. Be sure to save and print out your Paypal reciept. You will pay for the rooms on your arrival at the venue, but you must reserve them in advance in this PM.

If you cannot use Paypal, contact me for alternative arrangements. probably a USPS money order or certified check in advance.

Deadline for room reservations and payment for event admission and food will be Sunday, June 1st.

Is this place in Clarksville TN? What if I can come at the last minute for one day and not spend the night, can we still pay at the door and get in? With the weather being messed up like it is I don't know if I will be done planting this year's crops as I haven't planted the first seed yet.

Fact is, I have a ton of help behind the scenes. Pappy, Nobody, and Proteus are some fantastic guys to work with and just make everything easier.

And Joe Carducci is my hero.

Sure wish we could get you guys who are not in the States over here one day. Any event we have is poorer without you guys.

I've been thinking about Friday night dinner.

Some places I've eaten in Nashville include:

Blackstone - My favorite. Beer brewed on site and nothing fancy but tasty pub fare.

Buca di Beppo - Great Italian, fun place.

Tin Angel - Another favorite.

Gerst Haus - Get your appetite on, Barvarian style. Don't be in a hurry, its old school.

Capital Grille - Good food, but spendy.

This is just off the top of my head, I'm sure I'm forgetting some great places.

Thanks Tsar! It really isn't hard to stay enthusiastic about the task, and that makes it much easier. My only regret is that a States-only GDP gathering will be lacking all you guys.

My best to everyone who's able to go. I had been hoping to do some first-hand, close-up-and-personal lurking, but now it will have to wait until the SECOND ANNUAL. Maybe the assembled throng could set a date for next year during this event so I can tell the band we can't play then.

Well, I am totally unhappy and a little pissed right now. It's about 99.9% sure that I can't make it due to a commitment handed down to me by good old Uncle Sam. I really wanted to meet Joe Carducci and Fred Gretsch, but I guess it'll have to wait until who knows when. Ughhh, I am so disappointed right now that you don't even know. I'll be deploying out and won't be able to make it unless a miracle of God happens, which I doubt. So, keep the Gretsch fires warm and the doggies fed as I'll be on my way to hell in a hand basket! Anyway, I really wanted to share my country club as well as some good times and a ride down there. It was going to be so beautiful, I think I'm gonna shed a tear. Ok, I've regained my composure and just want to say, break a leg to ya'll. I hope you all have a good time and take some good photo's and videos so I can feel like I was there. Believe me, I'll be there in spirit!
