Any opinions on either of these 2 amps in conjunction with Gretsch Guitars? Have been considering one of the two with the Wht Falcon/Tv Jones. Man it's really tough deciding on an amp.

I got the opportunity to stack up all but a couple of Dr. Z heads and go through them one by one with my 6118T with TV Classics, and as much as I like the descriptions of the amps from the web site, and the fans of the amps are great on his forum, very nice people, I only liked one of his (current) amps: The Prescription Extra Strength. It was capable of being glassy, Fender clean and it had all the gain in the world to take you anywhere else you wanted to go. Very versatile but loud as hell. I'd get the jr. model of the amp if I were buying one.
I also compared a couple of Victorias and wasn't really a fan.
I will say, as far as Dr. Z goes, if you're looking for a real jazzy clean, like a smooth dark tone, the KT45 is up your alley. They don't make them anymore but if you can find one, that's what I would recommend. For everything else, I'd recommend the RX ES jr.
