A while back I picked up a Dearmond M-75 at a Pawn Shop based on their reputation. It needed a tiny bit of work. So between that and my recent Duo Jet acquisition, I really haven't played it. Went to jam with some friends last night and took that and my Princeton reverb. No pedals ... just a guitar, and amp and a cord.
WOW! The tone on these things is really fantastic. Sparkly is the best way to describe it. The overdrive was creamy, but still very, very clear and articulate. The Goldtones have an interesting sound that isn't really like anything else I've heard. Definitely dug it.
Any other fans out there?
