I'll post a better set of photos later; this one is from my phone. Man, I love this guitar. I can't believe I waited so long to try one out!

ooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Niiiiice one.
Nice Bonedaddy. Any problems with intonation after playing hard?
Lovely. Looks like a tune-o-matic?
Yes it's a tune-o-matic. I like it better than the standard Jaguar bridge. No mute though, but I've been palm muting so long, I don't think I'll miss it.
I haven't had any issues with the intonation after hard playing. I had an American Deluxe Strat and the whole two point trem, but I always had problems with it and tuning. Not so on the Jaguar so far. Also, my SGV800 trem never has had an issue with tuning/intonation.
I'll post some sound clips soon; I really dig the lead circuit on this. As I was saying, I can't believe I waited so long to try one of these out.
Nice, looking forward to the better pics!
Sweet - I've always appreciated the beautiful good looks of a nice sunburst jag.
I have had some problems with my JM intonation and then a problem keeping the big e in saddle.
I may switch out to the tune-o-matic and see if that works. Love the techno look of the Jags, but prefer the scale on the JM.
Ok, as promised, better pics!

One more:
Nice. Can you tell me what the switching does? This is one of the few guitars I haven't messed with. I guess I have always just dismissed them. (sounds like you did too)
Don't make it sound too good to me though because I'd have to go try one and you know what that leads to.
ooh, dats a nice Jag Bonedaddy.
Actually, here's a better explanation than I could ever type up:
As for how it sounds? Well, I can't believe I ignored these for as long as I did. I really like the sound, particularly on the lead circuit. You can get some cool "out of phase" sounds with it by messing around with the switch combinations.
You should definitely try one out. I really like the Jazzmaster too, but I have a Yamaha SGV800 that sounds remarkably like a Jazzmaster, and something about the short scale just kind of grabbed me. It's nice for getting a percussive sort of snap out of the strings.
Cool link.
I'll have to check it out better once my high speed internet connection gets back up to speed. Dial up is a pain!
ooh man, I hear ya' about dial up! But, it's flash, so it shouldn't take that long
In addition to the tunamatic an mustang bridge works well on my Jazzmaster as it would I am sure here..
The nice thing about the T-O-M though, is the better intonation adjustment. I'm no purist, so I'm ok with the T-O-M instead of the Jag/Jazz/'stang bridge.
After my Danelectro DC, my first REAL guitar was a used Jaguar that I had on layaway for nearly a year. It had to be a first year because when I bought it in 1963 it was beat to hell already but man was I proud of it. It was sunburst as well but I stripped all the paint off and painted it Wisteria which is kind of a light purple. Hey, I was a stupid kid, cut me some slack. Anyway, I kept that guitar for a couple of years and then I believe I traded it for a Guild Manhattan with two soapbar pickups. The guitar lines get pretty fuzzy after that as I started buying, selling and trading A LOT.
Anyway, nice Jag bonedaddy!!!
Thanks guys, I'm really digging this guitar. I'll try and get some sound bytes recorded, although I'm doing the new amp thing, and may wait until then to record them.
The short scale is pretty damn cool, if I do say so. The 'liveliness' or 'snap' from the strings produces some cool tones for sure.
I had one of these and did the Curt Kobain and put humbuckers in it. I don't think it changed the tone too much either. I love the neck and playability of it. I felt my upper register chordings were a little cramped though and that's why I sold it. I keep kicking myself evertime I think of it.
My inspiration for checking out a Jaguar would have to be Johnny Marr. Apparently, the Edge plays them as well.
I was never into Curt Kobain/Nirvana. They were ok, but other than a song here and there, never really grabbed me.
You should get another one Wenz
Speaking of Jags, check this out!
Very Nice!
