That looks cool ! What kind of Tele is it?
Are you gonna get a TV Tele bridge and put another Tron in the bridge?

Thanks man, I think it looks pretty cool myself. Better then I expected. It's a MIM Tele. I'm not sure if I will swap out the bridge yet. I kinda like having the Filtertron sound and the Tele sound. The Tele pickup seems to be more twangy and dirtier where the tron is smooth and creamy with a little twang. The fitlertron is actually a bridge pickup that came out of my Annie.

Are the screws on the pickup ring actually screwed into the wood, or are they sawed off, glued in fakes?

Two are screwed into the pick guard/wood the other ones are screwed into just the pick guard.

If you (or FMIC) ever go into production on those things, I've got your advertising slogan:
"Be a mensch, Play a Fendsch!"

I thought about getting a clear one and painting it black and I still may but at the time I kinda wanted to see what the silver would look like. It does make the Filtertron the focal point on the guitar. Thanks for the kind words though.
The picture doesn't do it justice. You HAVE to hear it to really start drooling.
It wasn't to terribly hard to do. I spent the majority of my time waiting for parts

I think it looks good the way it is, silver ring and all.
Okay, so how does it sound? Does the 'Tron override the bridge pickup when playing the two of 'em together?

Guys, I will try my best to get some sound clips up when I get off. It shouldn't be too hard but I've been having problems with the device that I use to record on my computer. I will see what I can do. I'm at work right now
As for the pickup surround, I think it would look cool painted white but I'm gonna leave it as is for now.
My next step is to order the bigsby kit. I've gotten so used to my Gretsch that it feels like something is missing without a bigsby.
Scott: I would say it does a little. I haven't had much time to play it since I finished it but I will report back within a day, hopefully with some sound clips.
Parabar: I just noticed your comment. HA!
