No but I've seen that picture before. It looks like a fun-house mirror got to a "real" guitar, and I quickly begin to feel ill.

I'm pretty sure it was a Fender Custom Shop job from a few years back.

I believe that was a Gretsch/Fender Custom Shop one-off which they probably took around to the NAMM shows and such as a conversation piece. it must be a couple of years old at least by now, because i saw that same photo when i first got on this forum a year and a half ago.

I'm sorry, but that's hideous to me!
I like this one made by Fano Guitars. It is more aesthetically pleasing. It combines Tele, Gretsch and LP Jr. features:

Disclosure: I have a Fano SP-6 (not like this one, though) and think its a totally fab instrument.

Im still not sure what to think of it i suppose it is a little ugly but i like it none the less if for no other reason than its a cool concept. The fano is pretty cool too.

I wish that little stubby Bigsby was still available. Didn't those come on some Harmony guitars?

Here is a YouTube clip of chet1952 (Jean Francois) playing "Cascade" on his Fitertron equipped, F holed, Bigsby'd, semi hollow, Tele. Sounds good to me. I questioned him about it once in email, but he didn't address it in his reply. Still a mystery guitar to me.

NAMM 04? Hell I forget I remember seeing the pics from NAMM that Mike Lewis posted on the GDP back then. The image was burned in my brain FOREVER!

Yep, I shot a picture or two of that guitar at a NAMM show a few years back and it appeared in one of my NAMM diatribes from then. Since then it has haunted my dreams and eluded my grasp more than the solo in "Rock Around the Clock." Every guitar I've built since then (OK, there haven't been that many) has been an orange Tele, and one had a Bigsby. It's the epitome of guitardom for me, Tele-meets-Gretsch-and-it's-orange, though now I admit, it is a little homely.
