Hey folks! As the one-man Paul Pigat fan club I thought I should mention this. This will be a rare opportunity for you West Coast folks to see Cousin Harley in your own backyard! There's even murmurs that my wife and I will unload the kids for a few days and come down as well. So, you know, you could even meet ME!!!!
Paul's playing on the Sunday night showcase, though I don't think he knows what time yet. If I hear any other news I'll post it up for you all.

I noticed they followed a usual US centric practice in listing where the artists are from. US artists have the name of the state they are from rather than just USA, whereas for the Canadian and Austrian artists they only list country rather than province or state. 
Also, for the UK artist they do not name the country.
Wish I was back home on the west coast, I'd come to see him. Please let me know if he's within 400 miles of New Jersey!!! Go Paul go! I'm waiting for another of your DVD's to arrive soon...

Mikey, I love Paul Pigats playing. I really wish I could get to see him. He is highly underrated and a great player not to mention teacher on his DVDs.
I've recently ordered his CDs and am still waiting from Amazon. I went to his site and the place that was there is going out of business. So, I've been pursuing his stuff for almost 2 months.
If you have time, any updates on them is greatly appreciated. PLus one for it. Thanks

Hey Diggey! Paul's Cousin Harley site is getting to be out of date. I have a NEW site already built that just needs to some tweaking, but we've both been so busy that we haven't got all the content for it finished. I'm HOPING we can offer at least his CD's direct from the site using PayPal or something, but that's another issue we haven't quite nailed down. is Paul the best rockabilly player out there right now? im seriously thinking that. Just playing with his bass player Pete Turland last night. Hes the guy that made the standup bass dvd along with Paul. Wish i could go to Vegas, im outta work.
Hey gusto! Where did you play with Pete? Or did I read that wrong? We don't see him much at all since he moved to Edmonton. He was here in Vancouver for a bit in the summer (I think doing another DVD...) and we had a chance to chat a bit. Cousin Harley's not the same without Pete and Paul together, that's for sure.
Anybody who can make that show will be blown away.IMO he is the best Stickhandler in Billyland for sure.

Mikey, i live in edmonton. Pete is teaching me theory and trying to improve my travis picking. The man is very underated on the guitar imo, he is so well known for his standup bass playing. Great great guy.

To jonhope: I'd imagine Pete's learned more than a few licks from Paul, but I think he might just actually be a pretty fine player regardless.
its my guild x-160 rockabilly. sweet sweet guitar. Ya Pete is better on guitar than most people think. Everyone is so used to him playing slap bass that its a shock (at least to me) when you see him rip it up on guitar.
