Sure, my buddy Paul makes excellent repro & custom accessories, cool guitar & amp mods. He's also known to crank out the occasional novelty instrument.
Paul, did you have a hand in this one?

It sure has the Setzer hallmarks of quality construction and exacting design in a very versatile package.
THIS IS PROGRESS.
Thanks for sharing the miracle.
I laughed so hard I spit beer on my keyboard ![]()

Haha, that was funny, kind of dorky, but cool at the same time!
Pockets is a little out there. He needs a pickup on that thing!
He'll probably win some talent shows with that setup.
Check out dueling banjos and this -> pockets
instrument. of. the. century.
Very good
Absolutely fascinating.
I saw that one last night.. very strange! Very cool too..
pretty cool, only bad choice of song though.
But maybe very fitting for this instrument.
Danman,
This particular song has been the prime topic at chez shuie this week. It was sparked by hearing this superlative version-
Now THAT'S amazing.
Drummer and bass player ought to pull out; they sound marginally competent. The world needs more even marginally competent rhythm sections.
The world, alas, probably doesn't need the other three, at least certainly not in their present capacities.
At least there was no crowd to witness the emabarrassment.
Shuie,
I don't know what to say.... I am perplexed. Didn't see this coming
This was pretty ..... ummm.... special in it's own weird way and I have a feeling the song is going to be the prime topic at chez Danman this week too. I don't know if I should say thanks for sharing but thanks for sharing anyway..... I'm actually going to watch it again right now.
It becomes quite compelling, doesn't it?
Yes it does, nightmare stuff I'm afraid...., but the second time I watched I noticed the great part about that video: There is a little girl that runs into the picture at the beginning and then immediately, as if she knows what's going to happen, disappears again. thought that was great and a very wise decision on her part .....
I've listened SO many times I've now convinced myself that the singer is some kind of modal superimposition genius. He does not hit a single 'right' note. Even a chimp is going to hit at least one.
It's all so earnest. And they never give in to either icy logic or warm trickling embarrassment. They see it through to the bitter end.
So much to admire.
Ha ha, yes he does manage to hit so many 'other' notes it becomes pretty impressive... Maybe he hears things we don't. I like when the singer kicks in... and you are right, they are a serious lot.... on their way to the top, no doubt...
