After reviewing scores of documents and video in both print and electronic media with regard to Sarah Palin, it seems to me that one crucial fact has been overlooked, to wit: she's kinda hot.
One more Palin observation

Mother of 5, 44, and a politician. That's some brownie points.

I suppose it depends how you look at it. I look at her as a breath of fresh air. Because female politicians are some of the most God-awfully ugliest of all ladies. I don't understand it, but it's a fact. Condie isn't that bad, but she's not wonderful either.

Now seriously, the only one remotely involved with politics that I'd put in the 'babe' category is Carla Bruni, first lady of France:

Well I didn't put her in 'babe.' And yeah, you got that right.
Alls I'm saying is that she's the best looking woman to ever be big in politics here. And that's fine with me. I'd be very happy to have her as a wife. I'm not gonna think about her when I go to bed or anything (Rock Hudson's already got that taken care of), but she's more than good looking enough to make me want to watch speeches.
Again though, that Bruni chick is something else, huh?

I don't trust women who suffer from Nugentitis. This is a disease where you fire a bullet into the brain of a happy, defenseless, animal that's minding its own business just looking for something to graze on. Don't get me wrong, I own some high-end rifles but I don't see the point of killing animals. I understand why men do it and I've killed a few birds and rabbits in my day, but women are supposed to be more docile, understanding, and loving creatures who appreciate the world of nature.
I heard Palin beheaded a baby seal and drank the blood and growled, "I AM WOMAN HEAR ME RAWWWR" Then belched. And the republicans all got hard ons.

lol Ok dude.
You like eating, don't you? Women are generally more sensitive, I agree, but it's sure as hell not wrong for them to hunt. It's not wrong for men to hunt. If you do it humanely and fairly, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.
lol I'm chuckling as I write this because you can't be serious

And then she'd reach up, peel the glasses off, undo the hair, shake it down, lick her lips, gaze into the camera and say,
"Any questions.....?"
Yeah, I'm smitten. You betcherass.

Big Al, just curious, what constitutes 'fair' hunting? I'm not an anti gun guy, not at all. I'm just curious what your viewpoint is on 'fair' hunting.
Does the animal get a gun to shoot back with?

Having a bunch of deer in a pen isn't fair. I'm not a huge fan of 'canned' hunts. I don't think it should be illegal, but I don't like it.
The sport in hunting is actually finding the damned animal. They're difficult to spot, find, and track, and that's 98% of the hunting battle. Shooting is not hunting. They're different verbs.
Hunting is fair to the animal because it allows them to live life normally, and reproduce normally. It gives them a far less painful death than they'd experience normally (as opposed to being eaten by a bear for instance) and it feeds much of America.
Over-hunting is wrong. Torturing the animals is wrong. I believe 'canned' hunts are wrong.
That's being fair to the animal. Because they're beautiful creatures. I would argue that most hunters (at least the ones I know) have a far greater appreciation for the perfection in game than most people.

I have to say that I am with bonedaddy on this one. Granted, she is younger and perhaps more attractive than many of the women who have reached the national political stage, but that doesn't really say much. She isn't my type. Now, I have to admit that I am somewhat embarrassed by my fellow Californians that no one has mentioned our very own Mary Carey who ran for Governor some years ago, but was defeated by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Mary Carey gives a whole new concept to the idea of a "female politician."

I have no problem with hunting or fishing, if the animal is to be used for food. Trophy hunting, killing for the sake of killing, I find repulsive.
