Before I ruin my SSLVO, I wanted to see if anyone else on here has used a string swing with a lacquer finished gretsch? I have the typical musiciansfriend string swings and would like to use them sometimes, but I'm afraid of marring the finish. Please let me know if you think it will be ok?

I don't risk it Chris. Rickenbackers are famous for neoprene finish reactions as well as other brands. Some felt with self adhesive backed velcro strips on the ends(you only need the hoop end of the velcro) will adhere to the felt to wrap the arms. No worries.
