I saw on their myspace page that they were doing a tour in Europe, so I thought: this is my chance. Check out their muspace for more dates http://www.myspace.com/hillbillyhellcats
I also saw a post that Chuck (mr Hillbilly Hellcats) was complaining about bookings in Europe and I saw that there were no bookings in the Netherlands. So I sent him some adresses of places that I thought would be interested in booking them. So the Hillbilly Hellcats showed up in Eindhoven. Quite close to where I live. And me, my GF and the singer of my band went to see them.
Of course we were all wearing our Piston Rockers (my band) T-shirts and I talked to Chuck and there were some photo opportunities, and he remembered us from covering his "White Trash" song, about 2 years ago. Later on he thanked us on stage, don't really know what for, but hey.
I think this was one of the best gigs I have ever seen. In my entire life. Chuck played a white Electromatic so I asked him were his WF was and he said it was too heavey. But the gig. One word: WOW oh I allready said that. Man this Chuck can play, unbelievable. The drummer and bassplayer were also really impressive. 2 hours of pure hard rocking rock 'n roll. You got to go see them.
