Proteus, I had that exact same Kramer guitar. It had a distinct voice of its own, very smooth and jazzy, but I never could get used to the feel of the aluminum neck. Wish I'd kept it, though.
What would you pick: Barroom Brawl/Guitar Weapon

I'd say some bolt-neck Japanese Les Paul, or a FLying V. Those things could do some damage. Either way it would have to be a solid-body.

a good indicator would be to examine Pete Townshend's guitar-smashing footage over the years...it seems self-evident from that evidence that a Fender guitar would be the weapon of choice. PT could kill an SG dead with two or three good whacks, and demolish a Rickenbacker in less than 30 seconds; he had to beat the drum kit at Monterey half to death before his Strat failed, and even then the bits were still hanging together. though i don't think confirmation exists, i've read that PT once chopped a 4x12 cabinet in half with a Strat. sounds implausible, but if it was a masonite cab--which wasn't unheard of in the 60s--it could have happened.

well, if you're dead set on clubbing someones brain in with a hollowbody, I'd get a Trussart Steelcaster. It's hollow, it's a Telecaster and it's made of metal.
It's like hitting someone with a frying pan.

I once held off a biker gang with a wallet-sized picture of my mother-in-law (wife made me carry one...thankfully). The band was most grateful for the sparing of our gear.

I had the displeasure of working with some BC Rich acrylic guitars. Sharp edges, brittle acrylic, not just heavy, but HEAVY! Could be dangerous!
Also, check out the 'Moser Blade Runner'.
