(yes folks, she already had that name...)
The First Ever GREAT GRETSCH GIRL!!

After 125 years of Gretsch history, isn't it about time the official guitar of Rockabilly had its own official pinup girl? Let's mark this Saturday, May 17 2008 as the day the hands on the tower clock met and we mended that little flaw in history.

And what an entrance she made, riding into The Compound on the deck of a '30 Ford rod, parting the waves of hopped-up cats and kittens, smiling and waving like a Varga come to life!

Yeah! It IS a new white Falcon, a new Gretsch model, all of it. Funny how all that wordplay works out.

But you know how the Carduccian "one more surprise thing works..." That WAS the big announcement, but we have plans.

For one thing, I think we can get Kim to say hi here in the thread, and there will be mondo more photo ops.

And, you know...maybe a special giveaway.

I mean, you never know.

And still to come, Unknown and the Rev. And I want you guys to know that instead of watching the show, I'm all alone in a little stone hut.

I bet I'm going to watch me some serious Unknown and Rev, however. I'll bring back the goodies, but don't count on much yapyap once those sets start. Y'heah?
