Both songs are posted in .wma and .m4a format (the picture link for the second is .wma). I don't honestly know how to set it so that it plays in the window using your default player or Quicktime, so, uh, sorry for that. You'll have to download them or just have your browser open them in Windows Media Player or Itunes or whatever you use.

I have that same look sometimes with some of the questions my wife asks me. One time she asked me if it looked like she was gaining weight. Why I did it, I don't know; but I just had to say, "Well, maybe." It was several days before the swelling went down.
I asked my fiance that same question a few months ago. He said, "Hell yes!" I cheered. He reminded me of that two weeks ago when I mentioned I can't wait to have our baby so I can go back to not being big. He also said, "You know, that's the strangest thing you've said or done since you've been pregnant. I expected worse."
Way to go honorary granddaughter. WOW!!!

That's some great trumpet playing...graceful..not very many people can play an uplifting solo like that.
Those two songs lifted me up from a very low place this morning.
I haven't been the same since one of our sons died in April.
I've never been big on CCM, but in your case I gladly make an exception.

You guys are far too kind. As far as the trumpet goes, I was fairly unhappy with it because that wasn't my trumpet, so the sound is...thinner. The bore on my trumpet is larger than the borrowed one I played during that song.
With the recording, I'm not really sure which of the guys played guitar. They're all very talented, and they definitely deserve full credit for that beautiful creation. That was their baby shower gift to me.

Hello to you. That's some lovely trumpet you play there. Trumpet can be a curiously emotionless instrument when played by those who treat it like gymnastic event. I'm sure you know the type, "Check out my super, super C!" "I just did, and so did my dog. Who now needs counselling."
Your trumpet playing is the opposite. Liquid, sustained, confident and so sweet.
I own a trumpet and a cornet. I won't insult you by claiming to play. I bought the trumpet to test the Bb parts I write to make sure they work. Then I got the cornet which is so much easier to blow. I think that's to do with the way the tube flares out a little. It's more compressed and kind. On a good day I've got two octaves- G to G.
Thanks for the tune. I'm a computer moron and couldn't find the other one. Will try later. Right now I'm off to big band, where I'll have four trumpets blaring along with four trombones and five saxes. Can't beat a big band when it comes to moving some serious air.

Played for 2 or 3 years as a kid. Wanted a guitar but had to settle for trumpet. Lost interest (of course) because I simply didn't love it enough, but I do remember how tricky it was to get tone out of that little brass thing.
Blown away. Loved your friends' sound, too.
