Born in Schenectady, NY. Lived in Scotia. Started guitar in 1960 at age 10. Joined Musician's Union Local 153 (now in San Jose) in 1974. Played years of union hack jobs, mostly big band and showtunes. Some demo studio work. Taught guitar at UCSC for a few years (and at stores). I'm mostly a Tele guy, but like archtops too. Real musicians have day jobs.
